Easter Holidays yoga family fun!
I held my first Family yoga session this Easter Holiday. It was a little scary not knowing whether I’d be able to
control a room full of little ones, but it was fun. It was also noisy and chaotic but everyone enjoyed it. I’m extremely pleased that by the time we reached relaxation I had everyone relaxed and quiet on their mats. This was so rewarding and lovely to see.
We chanted, we sun saluted and we partnered with our grown-ups for twists, trees and tangles! We learnt how to balloon breathe, and we went on a guided meditation where we learnt how to relax each body part in turn and to remember how lovely it made us feel so that we could call on it when we felt cross, sad or worried. There were magic crystals, scents and massage for our grown-ups.
As it was the Easter holidays everyone went home with chocolate eggs and a mandala to colour in and practice their mindfulness at home.
I have asked to see photos of the coloured in mandalas so I really hope you find the time to send me some 🙂
I am planning on doing more Fun Family Yoga sessions so please sign up to my newsletter, LIKE my Facebook page, follow my Twitter and Instagram for more information on future sessions.
Thanks to everyone that came, I loved it and I can’t wait for the next one!
